Marbulous!

With the kids at school and the rain pouring outside, Ridge and I decided to build a marble maze. I am proud to announce that I only taught Ridge one swear word while building the stupid thing! He loved it and was so excited to put marbles down it time and time again that it was well worth the time (forever!) it took to build it.

Driveway Chalk!

Gabe got the sidewalk chalk out the other day. We had a lot of fun coloring the drive way all different colors. Raygen likes to draw hearts and flowers and Gabe was busy drawing butts--"monkey butts" to be exact. Ridge had fun just drawing on himself and they all chalked the poor cat. No wonder that cat hates us! It was a great activity for a while. And now today it is raining like crazy so I don't even have to worry about clean up! Can't beat that.

Memories. . .

Ok so here is a fun game to see who and how many people read my blog.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories are out there!

Another One Bites the Dust!

Tyson filled another tag today when he arrowed this nice cow elk. I was very pleased. Now we will have meat in the freezer and I won't have another head hanging on the wall. It is a win/win situation for all. . . .except maybe the cow. Tyson went hunting this morning after a bull he had been seeing. He told himself that he would shoot anything that presented a good shot. So when this cow wandered in range, he let his arrow fly and hit her with a perfect shot. I am proud of him for sticking to his goal. Besides, now that we have a freezer full, I can concentrate on bringing home the BIG bull in October when my hunt starts. ;0) Ridge thought it is pretty cool. And yes, he is saying "Holy crap!" in the video. It is his new phrase and he says it ALL the time.
